Mary Nazzal-Batayneh

Mary Nazzal-BataynehMary Nazzal-Batayneh is a UK barrister, human rights academic and Chairperson of the Landmark Jordan Holding Group.  She has vast experience campaigning for Palestinian human rights and has worked with organisations including the Anti-Apartheid Wall Campaign and Human Rights Watch.

She holds degrees from Columbia University, the University of London, College of Law and the Inns of Court School of Law.

Gareth Peirce

Gareth PeirceGareth Peirce is a leading civil liberties and human rights lawyer in the UK.  She is famous for her landmark Birmingham Six, Guildford Four and Guantanamo Bay victories.  A driven activist for political reform, in the 1970s she played a key part in reforming police procedures that permitted the prosecution and conviction of persons solely on identification evidence.  In March 2007 Gareth was inducted into Justice Denied magazine’s Hall of Honour - a lifetime achievement award - for aiding the wrongly convicted.

 

 

Susan Wright

Susan WrightSusan Wright previously worked for five years in Bosnia and Herzegovina as Head of the Rule of Law Department at the Office of the High Representative, and in Sierra Leone as part of the war crimes tribunal.  She currently works as Director of Médecins du Monde, a leading international medical care and assistance organisation.
